NYC ARTS Briefing Session for Queens-based cultural organizations Ended Free

Event Details

You are invited to a briefing meeting about NYC-ARTS.org and NYCkidsARTS.org, new online marketing tools which went live in beta November 2008 and launched publicly on June 23rd. The sites are already seeing increases in traffic and use, and NYC-ARTS.org was an official Webby Award honoree this year.

We are asking Queens-based cultural organizations to attend this briefing, hosted by Flushing Town Hall.  We hope that you will join us at Flushing Town Hall on Thursday, November 19 at 9:30 a.m. to learn about this project what it can do for your organization.

We will also use this time to explain how the NYC ARTS Content Manager works. More than 150 organizations in New York City have already signed up to contribute their events, update their listings, post their arts education programs and activities, and upload organization and events photos through the NYC ARTS online content management system.

We hope that your organization will be among the next group to join as a partner in this effort and regularly update listings on NYC ARTS and NYCkidsARTS—which will promote what you are doing as well as promote the field as a whole.

We hope you will come and that you will bring at least one other person from your organizationideally from your press/public relations office and/or your arts education office.   In some cases we may be able to accommodate up to 3 people from an organization.
